The 8.2″ Droid Xyboard is a solid device. It’s Motorola’s follow-up to the original Xoom tablet, and it’s quite impressive. Here is a video review of the device, with some specs, pros & cons listed below as well.

Trying something new! I have been collaborating with several folks on the meetup agenda for each month, using Google Docs. The “share” feature of the document is very handy, as participants are able to add & edit the document, without a single file being passed in email or some other method. If you haven’t tried it for collaborating on documents, spreadsheets and other files, you need to!
So, taking it a step further, I will now use those same documents as the meetup notes, rather than copy and paste that into a new post! After the meetup has occurred, I will change the sharing options to “Public: View Only”, and that Agenda document will now become the Meetup Notes!

When the Droid RAZR was first announced, I looked at the photos of it and to be honest, I was not “wowed”. But once I had a chance to handle the device for this review, I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked the form factor of this thin, light and fast device!
It is currently running Gingerbread (Android 2.3.5), but it’s already confirmed to receive Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) in the near future. I personally have not seen a faster (stock) device that is running Gingerbread. Between the speed of the device itself and the speed of Verizon’s LTE network, the RAZR is definitely a powerhouse. Here is a dedicated link for the RAZR on Verizon’s site.

There have been rumors for a while now, about Google working on a cloud storage service called Google Drive. It supposedly would allow Google users to store their documents and files online, much like Dropbox (poor Dropbox! First Apple, now Google!).
A Brazilian tech site has been able to unlock hidden references to the service within Google Docs:
No details at this point, but it looks like there will be the ability to download an app that will allow you to sync your entire Google Docs archive to a new Google Drive account, or vice-versa.
I wonder if we’ll see Android tied into this somehow?! Hmmmmm!
Verizon is on a serious roll with their LTE coverage:
On Thursday, Nov. 17, the company will turn on its 4G LTE network in Little Rock, AR.; Savannah, GA.; Cedar Rapids and Des Moines, IA; Lexington, KY.; Kansas City and Springfield, MO.; Lincoln, NE.; Orange County, NY; Greater Providence, R.I.; Rapid City, SD; Roanoke, VA.; and Appleton, WI.
The company is also making major 4G LTE expansions on Nov. 17 in Louisville, KY.; Grand Rapids, MI.; Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN.; Pittsburgh, PA.; and Nashville, TN

One might ask, why get the RAZR which is running Gingerbread, when Ice Cream Sandwich is about to be available on the Galaxy Nexus? It all comes down to personal preference of devices, because it won’t be long before the RAZR will be running ICS too, as confirmed here.
