Waze, the turn-by-turn social GPS application currently available for iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile and Symbian platforms, is now available (in beta) for BlackBerry.
Waze is a community-driven free mobile navigation app. It allows drivers to build and use live maps, real-time traffic updates and turn-by-turn navigation. It gathers all the information from the users who are creating or editing the maps. Waze also incorporates social elements that give drivers the ability to actively warn each another on possible traffic jams, police traps, construction sites, speed cams, accidents.
The Waze Blackberry Beta is available for free download here. Waze says this is still beta, and does not contain the full feature set available on other devices – yet.
