SPB literally dominated in the Windows Mobile world for the longest time, so it’s great to see them rolling out their software for Android now, bit by bit. 

Their latest release is SPB Shell 3D, which is an interface that can replace the one on your device (Sense for HTC devices, Blur for Motorola devices, TouchWiz for Samsung devices, etc).  You might be familiar with other interface alternatives that exist in the Android Market, such as Launcher Pro and ADW Launcher…

It’s a little pricey at $14.95, but it comes with a lot of really cool features.  There are numerous SPB widgets (3D World Time, Picture Viewer,  SMS Viewer, Weather Graph, etc) and several SPB panels (Animated Weather, Picture of the Day based on Flickr,  
Time with 60+ skins, & Calendar) which add to the mix of options. 

In days of old, SPB offered trial versions, but now you have to dive on in and purchase…  At least you can see a video of the interface in action on their site, which is helpful.  We’ll plan on demoing the interface at our April meetup as well.
