SwiftKey has a new public beta – SwiftKey X, and I can tell you from personal experience, it rocks!

Their new public beta, which is available for free on Android Market, is packed full of new features (see below). You can download it as http://skx.me/beta – and they encourage users to share this link with anyone they wish!

When SwiftKey launches as a full app, it’ll be free for folks who have already bought SwiftKey previously.  Those who just tried the beta for free will need to ante up, but believe me, after trying it, you’ll want to! 

Here’s a quick look at the new features in SwiftKey X:

• Cloud-based personalization
  Personalize your SwiftKey typing experience with data from your Facebook, Twitter and Gmail, as well as your sent SMS messages.  Our new cloud personalization brings the typing experience to the next level.
• Typing styles to suit you
  Are you a precise and careful typist, or a rapid and less accurate one? With SwiftKey X, we’ve fine-tuned typing styles to match the way you use your phone, in order to maximize efficiency and make typing messages a breeze.
• Personal input modeling
  SwiftKey X dynamically adapts the touch-sensitive area of its keys, based on your actual touchscreen input actions, resulting in predictions that are based not just on the words you tend to use, but also the way you type.
• Keyboard customization
  With SwiftKey X we’ve introduced themes for your keyboard, allowing you to customize its look with themes. To kick it off, we’ve rolled out a new dark theme for the keyboard in addition to our original light theme – and more are coming soon.
