Video Review: Verizon Droid Xyboard 8.2

The 8.2″ Droid Xyboard is a solid device. It’s Motorola’s follow-up to the original Xoom tablet, and it’s quite impressive. Here is a video review of the device, with some specs, pros & cons listed below as well.
- 1.2 GHz dual-core
- 1GB RAM
- 1280 x 800 IPS LCD display
- Running Android 3.2 (Honeycomb)
- 1.3MP front camera, 5MP rear
- Reviewed the 16GB version (16, 32GB flavors available in 8.2″ model and 16, 32 & 64GB available in 10.1″ model)
- Has micro USB and mini-HDMI out
- 3960 mAh battery (7000 on the 10.1″ model)
- LTE and WiFi connectivity
- 0.85 lbs
PROS:
- Thin & light, but still feels very sturdy
- Screen is gorgeous. Colors are brilliant, and it gets super bright!
- LTE is screaming fast
CONS:
- Poor placement/style of the power & volume buttons
- Device is on the pricey side
