MyMobileVille

For over a decade, our meetings revolved around Windows Mobile. Times have changed, and so have we! The number of options for a mobile device has vastly increased, so our meetings are now “device agnostic”, meaning all are welcome, regardless of what device you use! Have an Android phone? iPhone? Windows phone? Something else? Come on out!  Can’t make it out? Attend virtually!

Our main objective is to share and learn more about these awesome devices! And you DON’T have to be a geek to attend! Yes, many of us fall into the mobile geek category, but we always have “regular” people in attendance as well!

If you haven’t been to one of our meetings, you don’t know what you’re missing! Everyone who attends a meeting walks away learning something!

Does it cost?

There is no cost to be involved with My Mobile Ville.

When we meet

We meet (both physically and virtually) on the 4th Tuesday of each month. The meeting begins at 6:30pm, and lasts until about 8:30pm (sometimes we go over, we get so carried away!).

Where we meet

We meet in the conference room of Peak 10 in Louisville. Peak 10 is located at 733 Barret Ave, Louisville KY.

Please note the new meeting location at Peak 10, as we have moved across the street as of June 2011.

• The red arrow in the photo is the door at LOU2 which we have used for previous meetings.
• The blue arrow indicates the front door to LOU1, where we’ll meet now.
• The green area is the off-street parking which is available in the late evening when we arrive. NOTE, the spots visible in the top right corner of the photo are technically reserved for Kindred Hospital staff, so please be kind and avoid parking there.
• The easiest access to the off-street parking is via Mercy Way. Just go up the hill and turn right after the building, and anywhere to the right of that is fair game!
• Ring the staff at the door, and they will point you to the conference room.

Attending Virtually

Can’t physically make a meeting? No problem!

We are now using Google Plus Hangouts for our meetings!  To join in, you need to be on Google Plus.  Add me to your circles, and I will do the same, and add you to my Mobile circle!

Our agenda is sent out in our email reminders. If you wish to be included in those reminders, please contact us!

We encourage attendees to share things they use which we might not have explored. Having broad general knowledge of all offerings out there makes us better informed consumers!

We are now in a routine of ordering pizza early on in the meeting, so if you are interested in partaking of some pizza, bring a few bucks! Sodas are generously provided by Peak10.
